DLS: ARCH were commissioned by Hastoe Housing Association to obtain planning consent for this residential scheme on the site of the former primary school.

Considerable community involvement was a feature of the approach DLS: ARCH used to obtain consent for the redevelopment of a range of accommodation, including two bedroom houses, flats and bungalows and also one bedroom flats for the local community.

The Kirdford Steering Group were awarded the “Richmond Award” in 2009 by Action in Rural Sussex, which recognised the aim to ensure that future generations continue to live in their village.
