23 residential units on a former school site in Lancing

DLS: ARCH obtained outline planning consent for this “surplus” WSCC former primary school site, for a residential development of 25 units.

DLS: ARCH were then commissioned by Austin Builders to develop the scheme up to Working Draining Stage and provide technical assistance during the construction phase.

The external appearance of the buildings was a response to the context of the site and the surrounding environment. The scheme was predominately two storey with pitched roofs and elevations which are a mixture of brick, render and boarding.
