The school’s desire was for the new build and refurbished areas to make a contemporary design statement providing inspiring accommodation and a stimulating learning environment.

Having prepared a feasibility study, it was agreed that the extension should consist of a new 8 classroom extension to the north; the refurbishment of an existing 2 storey “professional centre” to provide a new Learning Resource Centre, additional classrooms and a new staffroom and PPA facility along with a new dining hall/kitchen.
